1. Eligibility:

• Submissions are open to all poets over the age of 18—aspiring, emerging and established—whose work aligns with the club's focus on "darker" themes.

2. Submission Guidelines:

• Originality: All submitted works must be poets own original work. ​

• A.I.: We use A.I. detection tools to flag and reject any such created poetry.

• Themes: Submissions should explore darker themes, reflecting the club's emphasis on raw and emotional poetry.​

• Format: Poems should be submitted in a standard text format (e.g., .doc, .docx, .pdf).​

• Language: Submissions must be in English.​

3. Submission Process:

• How to Submit: Poets should submit their work through the official submission portal or via the 'Submit' section on the Dark Poets Club website.​

• Response Time: The club aims to respond to submissions within a reasonable timeframe; however, response times may vary.​

4. Publication:

• Selection: Selected poems will be featured on the Dark Poets Club website and may be included on our social platforms.​

• Editing: The club reserves the right to make minor edits for clarity or formatting. Any substantial changes will be discussed with the poet.​

5. Rights and Copyright:

• Ownership: Poets retain full copyright and ownership of their work.​

• Usage Rights: By submitting, poets grant Dark Poets Club the non-exclusive right to publish and promote their work on the club's platforms.​

• Revocation: Poets may request the removal of their work from the club's platforms at any time.​

6. Privacy and Confidentiality:

• Personal Information: Contact details and personal information provided during submission will be used solely for communication regarding submissions and will not be shared with third parties without consent.​

• Anonymity: Submissions are reviewed impartially and poets' identities are kept confidential during the review process.​

7. Agreement:

• By submitting to Dark Poets Club, poets acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.​
